**With a global remit, our Technical Program Management professionals lead cross-functional product design teams to develop and introduce game-changing new products and solutions. It’s about making sure we offer customers the right features, experience, quality, schedule, cost, continuity of supply, service capability and financials. And when products and solutions are in development, it’s about driving everything from definition through to planning, development and launch across global development centers and multiple lines of business. The team is also crucial to getting shipping right. All in all, it is a fascinating and incredibly varied area.**
**The New Product Introduction Program Management team in Cork Manufacturing Operations has multiple touch points across the Global Organisation and deal with many queries on the introduction of new and released products. The team build relationships with stakeholders and insure new products are introduced seamlessly and respond to challenges on released products and other manufacturing complexities.**
+ Manage multiple New Product Introduction programs to enable Manufacturing readiness for key milestones – pilot build, release to ship (RTS) and the 90 days post RTS
+ Become a recognized subject matter expert and key point of contact in relation to these products including technical product knowledge and understanding of the in-house and supply-chain processes.
+ Ensure crisp and consistent communication of all product program decisions and updates. Ensure that all necessary stakeholders are aware of relevant updates to product road-maps and changes to program schedules.
+ Work cross-functionally with the local and global stakeholders to identify risks and resolve conflicting priorities
+ Provide on-going support through a products life-cycle for product related queries
+ Participate in the Dell Culture of Innovation program in Cork Manufacturing to lead and support projects and initiatives as required.
+ Provide support to other members of the Product & Program Management team
+ Good interpersonal and communication skills to work with local and global team members
+ Self-driven initiative with a sense of urgency, ability to take responsibility for new tasks and deliver results independently with minimal intervention required.
+ Capability to deal with ambiguous situations, working in a multi-tasking environment and shifting focus appropriately.
+ Leadership skills, especially experience working with program schedules and deadlines and getting others to deliver to these schedules and deadlines.
+ Good team skills – capable of leading or working as an integral part of a team and delivering on commitments made.
+ Problem solving and analytical skills to take the lead in dealing with technical and business problems encountered with products and processes, root causing and correcting them.
+ Strong presentation skills to communicate clearly and effectively to multiple audiences.
+ Project Management Certification
+ Knowledge of Dells products, processes and technologies. Ability to explain to others the technology, functionality and the customer impact of Dells products
