We are currently seeking a Network Monetization Analyst (Supply and Algo) who will focus on understanding the search advertising ecosystem for the European marketplaces, and specifically how publishers, users and engineering are impacting the overall monetization of the Bing Ads network. In this role you will dive into heavy amounts of data and gain an understanding of levers that drive performance. You will have a keen intellect for generating data driven answers to complex business questions. Equally important is your ability to communicate across a varied range of partners. This will require a strong understanding of Bing Ads systems and processes and an ability to work and leverage resources across the organization.
This role can be based in: London, Dublin, Paris, Munich, Amsterdam, Madrid or Milan
+ Lead weekly business review to understand and analyse key monetization trends across all traffic slices in our top European markets and drive course correction measures with Engineering and/or Publisher partners as required
+ Monitor network quality, including the development of suitable measurement frameworks and building the case for network quality investments where appropriate
+ Partner closely with Engineering to understand and influence the roadmap for backend algorithmic changes, as well as analyse the impact of specific algo releases on the network
+ Partner with Supply teams to model the impact of new supply sources, driving necessary actions with Sales and Marketing to prepare for new traffic ramps
+ Serve as the key partner to Business Management, Finance, Engineering and field teams on marketplace performance in the EMEA region
+ Assist with short to long-term revenue forecasts that incorporate the business strategy as well as economic and competitive influences.
+ Lead project work streams with limited oversight.
+ Assist with monetization initiatives end to end by working with engineering, legal and marketing partners as appropriate.
+ Develop and lead executive level presentations on demand and monetization
+ Excellent partner management
+ Be a Strategic Advisor: Provide thought leadership, advice, influence and insight to partners across other teams.
The individual in this role will have a long-term proven track record of sales performance, coupled with global and channel insights across segments to drive innovation and agility.
+ Bachelor’s degree required, Advanced degree (MA, MBA, PhD) preferred.
+ 3+ years of experience in the online advertising industry is required, preferably in Search Engine Marketing. Basic knowledge of auction theory preferred.
+ 5+ years in program management or analytics role, including focus on digital, strategy and execution.
+ Demonstrated ability to solve complex and ambiguous problems by developing structured frameworks and utilizing sophisticated analytical approaches
+ Thorough knowledge and proficiency in working with large data sets. MS Excel required, SQL and PowerBI preferred.
+ An individual who can work creatively, resourcefully and with impeccable project management and organizational skills.
+ A team player with the leadership skills to take initiative on big challenges, establish a plan and spark people’s best thinking and work.
