**Medical Science Relation Manager- Rare Diseases (m/f)**

**This is what you can look forward to:**

+ Build, develop and shape enduring peer-to-peer relationships with Health Care Professionals (HCPs) and institutions, creating constructive cross-functional partnerships with external stakeholders to meet Pfizer’s medical needs across our medicines’ lifecycle

+ Provide high-quality, accurate, balanced and directed information to key customers and stakeholders in response to unsolicited requests for information

+ Close collaboration with the marketing and commercial teams and other important internal stakeholders

+ Meeting with payers, policy makers, (hospital) pharmacists and patient organizations/patient support groups

+ Ensure customer intelligence and customer findings are fed back into the organization to generate customer insights, to provide input medical affairs strategies and leverage medical opportunities

+ Support disease area medical strategies by providing support for the implementation of local non-interventional studies, following up on IIR opportunities, supporting feasibilities for phase 1-4 studies, support in the management of local advisory boards, interaction with local clinical investigators and other key medical and scientific activities

+ Participate in international meetings and scientific congresses

+ Active collaboration to set up and hold educational events for HCPs

**What you offer:**

+ Medical, pharmacy or science degree preferably on postgraduate level

+ Experience in Rare Diseases and/or Cardiology preferred

+ Strong presentation and networking skills

+ Project management skills

+ Business acumen, strong interpersonal skills, proven team player

+ High degree of cross-functional collaboration

+ Ability to clearly communicate information and concepts which may be complex in nature

+ Good knowledge of pharmacovigilance and regulatory legislation and how it impacts the product portfolio

+ Good knowledge of drug development

+ A knowledge of health economics and its impact on medical decision making including the specifics of the Austrian health system

+ Fluency in German and English is a must

+ Willingness to travel

+ Digital affinity and competence including very good MS office skills

The monthly salary depends on education, training and expert knowledge as well as previous experience but will at least amount to EUR 45.000 gross per year.
