As a member of our advanced technology team you will develop new algorithms in the field of medical ultrasound imaging.
You will play a crucial role in translating clinical feedback into innovative ideas and finally software solutions.
+ The role requires a focus on the early stages of product development, such as scientific feasibility studies or algorithm development in the field of medical ultrasound signal and image processing, employing state of the art machine learning algorithms.
+ This role will entail interacting with groups such as systems engineering and clinical product management, in addition to internal and external academic and industrial R&D partners.
+ You will also participate in the development of the architecture and specifications for our next generation ultrasound systems.
+ You will evaluate the latest research on ultrasound imaging and machine learning with respect to its clinical relevance and implementation possibilities.
+ You have a master’s degree in computer science, electrical engineering, mathematics, physics, biomedical engineering or a related field strong experience, or a PhD in the relevant fields.
+ You have a deep proven experience in data science, ideally with focus on dimensionality reduction techniques and machine learning, applied to image processing & analysis.
+ An excellent working ability in MATLAB and Python is expected.
+ You demonstrated the ability to write C++ code both for quick demonstration of ideas and robust, efficient, scaled-up software systems.
+ You have first experience in working in cross functional teams and project management.
+ You are interested in clinical image interpretation, the analysis of phantom characteristics, and physical principles of ultrasound.
+ A very good standard of written and spoken English is essential for this position.

For this position, the minimum salary based on the collective agreement is EUR 3.171.23 gross per month. We will be pleased to discuss the appropriate effective salary based on your qualifications and experience.
