### Description

**Essential Functions (80%)**

1. Support of Manufacturing Quote activities(70%)

a. Single point of contact for product industrialization for Customer Business Units and PD teams

b. Single point of contact for Manufacturing Technology Team (test, new technologies, …)

c. Consolidates the information flow between PD and manufacturing locations

d. Coordinates and develops optimum industrialization proposals in collaboration with the plants

e. Supports plants with customer specific knowledge to ensure full understanding of customer specification and quote compliance

f. Delivers the lowest total cost solution for new business

g. Ensures theBest Practices execution for business pursuit in the plants

h. Leads, supports and guides plants in the industrialization for approval of Gate 2

2. Coordination of Manufacturing Resident Engineers (30%)

a. Develops and optimizes the central Manufacturing Resident Engineers to deliver Business Unit support

b. Coordinates and oversees the development of optimum industrialization solutions for the programs supported by MRE team

c. Ensures the coordination between the MRE, the Manufacturing Technology team and PD for new process introduction

**Additional Functions (20%)**

* Attends new business pursuit meetings held by Account Managers/Quote Leaders (product definition, PDM, …)

* Ensures a flawless communication between CBG Quote team and Plant team representatives

* Attends Gate 0, Gate 1 Reviews and related Footprint meetings

**Preferred Competencies**

**Demonstrated skills and abilities as might be expected from this role:**

1. Full Degree in Engineering
2. 10 years of experience on automotive manufacturing environment
3. Broad knowledge of product design, manufacture and assembly techniques in a electronics environment
4. Deep knowledge of regional customers (technical, manufacturing and quality requirements)
5. Understanding of the manufacturing overhead cost structure and financial performance key drivers
6. Ability to successfully build working relationships, especially with Plant teams, Engineering, CBG representatives, Program Managers and Program teams
7. Advanced skills in active listening, problem definition, problem resolution, research, analysis, and executive briefings / reporting.
8. A demonstrated ability to manage by influencing others within and outside the organization.
9. Good level of written, verbal and graphics communication capabilities.
