Job Description - Finance & Admin Assistant - Finance Reporting to: Finance Manager Department: Finance & Admin LocationKidlington in Oxfordshire Job TypePart Time, 4 month Fixed Term Contract Salary: £18,000 - £20,000 pro rata This company is innovating to reduce the use of scarce resources within the world's largest industry - food. Their products mean that food can be safer and fresher, creating opportunities to reduce food waste and improve process efficiency. Candidate Profile This role is part-time to support the Finance Manager in implementing changes to the Company's purchasing system and improving the effectiveness and efficiency of purchase ledger, sales ledger and credit control as the company grows. A good working knowledge of Quickbooks is desirable. This role will be suited to a candidate who has accounts experience with strong numeracy and communication skills. The role is part time (20 hours per week) and may suit candidates with responsibilities outside work seeking a finance and admin role within a growing company. Key Responsibilities - Data inputting of invoices and journals in support of producing the monthly accounts - Assisting the Finance Manager in the completion of Balance Sheet reconciliations - Production of relevant financial reports as directed - Maintenance and filing of financial and administrative records as required - Assisting with other office and company administrative duties as required including, answering phones and greeting visitors as needed Desirable Skills - Competent with standard Microsoft Office tools, including, Word and Excel and Email - Organised and accurate with detail - Deadlines oriented and able to work calmly under pressure - Ability to multi-task and prioritise - Flexible and able to work collaboratively with colleagues What they offer - Competitive salary - Bonus scheme (subject to qualifying) - Stock options (subject to qualifying) - Up to 5% matched contributions pension scheme - 25 days annual leave (pro rata) - Excellent learning and development opportunities in a fast-growing organisation This company is an equal opportunities employer.
